Literally meaning Moonbeams, Sanda Kirana is a beautiful 4 bedroom beach house facing south west across the Indian Ocean and located just 5 miles from the historic Galle Fort. Conceived by a leading Australian architect, you enter the property through a large garden area with steps up into the house through impressive double doors, revealing gently trickling water gardens and opening up to the magnificent view of the breaking waves of the Indian Ocean. The central feature is a large swimming pool around which the villa is designed, on one side of which are the bedrooms and sitting room, all furnished with colonial furniture. The other side is a covered verandah overlooking the garden at the front of the villa, strewn with coconut trees and sloping down to the beach which often features in 'paradise' brochures.

There are 4 bedrooms, 3 double and 1 twin and a large cot is available for small children/babies if required. All beds are 4 poster with fitted mosquito nets and are cooled by overhead fans. The master bedroom has a small private terrace and you will drift off and awaken to the sound of the surf. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms. Bedroom 2 has an outside shower enclosed in its own garden area.

The sitting room is furnished with traditional Sri Lankan furniture, a library and CD player. A large dining table is located between the swimming pool and water garden. This is the centre for formal meals and at night provides a beautifully lit area facing the beach. |

The Sanda Kirana team of staff - Cook, Room Girl, Gardner/Pool Attendent and Night Watcher will take care of your every need. Discuss your meal requirements with the cook who will serve you with fabulous curries and excellent western dishes. He will also shop for all your ingredients if you provide him with a float, keeping an account for your inspection. You will find it fun at least once to accompany him and visit the daily fish, fruit and vegetable markets yourself.

Nor do we charge you extra for on-line credit/debit card payments Pricing Low Season: US$350 per night High Season: US$600 per night Peak Season (Christmas/New Year): US$750 per night Payment Policy A 15% deposit is payable to secure the booking. The deposit can be paid via our secure server or via bank transfer. Customers must pay all bank charges in the case of a bank transfer. A further 35% is payable 7 days after your confirmation. This should be paid direct to Sanda Kirana by bank transfer to UK account. The final 50% balance is to be paid one month prior to arrival at the Villa. Cancellation Policy The deposits are non refundable. |
